The Floatation system is selectable from rhe the Equipment - Fuel + payload menu Once equipped with the floatation system, the "Float Arm" button on the central switch panel will become active. Press this to ARM the system. You should also see a red handle on the right of the Centre console, this is the Deploy handle. Click that to deploy the floats ( yes you can float on water ) The floats can be repacked and the system reset by clicking the deploy handle again while on the ground. ON (FUEL P light should be off ) GENE ... OFF ( GENE warning light should be off ) Starter Selector... ON ( CRANK button on the Switch panel of a B3+) Check parameters : Ng... increase TOT ...below limits Engine oil pressure ....checked N1 = 10% disengage starter. When N1 > 63% you are art idle Whwn N1= 63%, GENE- ON, BATTERy-OFF Warning lights... all out, exc. HORN / PITOT / TWT GRIP /GENE Pitot.... ON Fuel Pump ... OFF Twist grip.... flight position ( power to 100%) Fire Test - press to test on main switch panel External lights as required ( default is OFF ) SAR Menu option - THIS IS JUST A FUN MULTIPLAYER FEATURE !! If you crash your chopper, you can use this menu option to call on another AS350 or any other chopper running the script, to retrieve your broken chopper and you, as an underslung load. AUTOPILOT V3 The Autopilot is now able to control speed, altitude and heading. Autopilot is only usable between 30-140kts Heading modes can be used without any other Autopilot function being active. Speed modes can be used without any other Autopilot function being active. **** Altitude modes can only be used in conjunction with speed mode being being active. This includes the use of Vertical Speed mode. *** AUTOPILOT ISSUES !!!!! When disengaging the AP entirely or from a singe mode, the control inputs will snap to your actual cyclic/colective/pedal positions as soon as you move any of them. This is unavoidable as the sim can not physically move your cyclic/colective/pedal positions to match the Autopilots input.
